A training day for professionals who are trained in DC:0–5 and have experience using DC:0–5 in clinical practice.
During the day, a case will be presented, including a case presentation with diagnosis, complete case formulation, and suggested interventions. There will also be time for questions and in-depth discussion on the application of DC:0–5, as well as group discussions to exchange ideas on clinical and other relevant issues.
The workshop also includes information from the Nordic DC:0–5 Working Group, current research, and news from the organisation Zero to Three.
The day will be held in English.
Catarina Furmark is a licensed psychologist at BUP Luleå and a doctoral candidate at the Karolinska Institutet. Her research concerns parental representations, parent–infant interaction, and infant development. Catarina is committed to developing interprofessional education in infant mental health (IMH) and is part of the Nordic implementation team for DC:0–5 in Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden. She is a member of WAIMH, the iCare collaboration, and Zero to Three’s international DC:0–5 faculty, and has worked with families and young children in the IMH field for over 25 years.
Nina Sanner is a senior psychologist and specialist at Lillehammer Hospital and a doctoral candidate at the University of Oslo. Her dissertation focuses on diagnostic classification of the youngest children. Nina teaches and supervises with a focus on IMH assessment methods and diagnostics, and has worked with families in child and adolescent psychiatry for over 25 years. She is a certified DC:0–5 trainer, co-author of the Nordic chapter in the DC:0–5 Casebook, and founder of the Nordic DC:0–5 implementation team.
Katherine Rosenblum is a clinical and developmental psychologist and Professor of Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. She is co-director of Zero to Thrive, a programme to promote health and wellbeing among families with young children in vulnerable situations. Her research spans perinatal, infant, and early childhood mental health, with a focus on health equity, multigenerational risk and resilience, and interventions to strengthen early relational health.
